by User Not Found | Feb 03, 2015

White Settlement Road between Fort Worth & Western Railroad tracks and Henderson Street/S.H. 199 will close to traffic beginning Wednesday, February 11th (weather permitting) until Early 2018.

As part of the Trinity River Vision (TRV)/Panther Island Bridge construction, the contractor is scheduled to close White Settlement Road between the Fort Worth & Western Railroad tracks and the existing Henderson Street/State Highway 199 (weather permitting).  This closure is needed for the contractor to begin work on the new White Settlement Road bridge that will span over the railroad tracks. Key alternate routes for through traffic while White Settlement is closed will be Henderson Street and 7th Street. For more information see this detour map. Access to local businesses between University Drive and the railroad will continue to be maintained.
