The 2014 celebration at Panther Island Pavilion had big shoes to fill left by the outstanding event held the previous year. We think it’s safe to say this year the festival not only met, but surpassed, the high expectations set for it. The fireworks show was out of this world, the jet ski and fly board shows left the crowd in awe and the free kid zone kept families entertained all day.

But don’t take our word for it, here’s a comment we received from a satisfied patron, “OH.MY.GOD... They say everything is BIGGER in Texas and this is why! I've gone every year to Dallas and Addison event, but this was out of this world! There were people tubing in the Trinity, pro Jet Ski exhibit, and the greatest firework show I have ever seen. I've come to an age where an invite to watch fireworks is follow by sighs and boredom. But this show was out of this world! It had shells that I have never seen before. Lanterns and parachute were falling from the sky, bombs were exploding in a ball of fire in the air, and pyrotechnics that will leave you breathless. I'm not afraid to say this was the BEST show I have ever, ever seen! Felt like a child again!”
