Last Thursday, the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) accepted an award from the Texas Recreation and Parks Society for Excellence in Promotion and Marketing of the Rockin’ the River summer tubing and music series. TRWD had previously won this award at the regional level which qualified them for the state-level competition. Neighborhood and Recreation Enhancement Coordinator, Rachel Navejar, attended the ceremony to accept the award on behalf of TRWD.

Rockin’ the River is an annual nine-week tubing and music series held on the Trinity River at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth. Patrons can float up on tubes to front row seats for the concert on our riverfront stage. Land lubbers can bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy the concert in the shade from the banks of the Trinity.
