Trinity Uptown will be buzzing this weekend as thousands of people flock to the area to get their fill of culture and fun.

On Saturday, October 6th the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FWHCC) will host Musicarte de Fort Worth, a colorful and exciting celebration of Latin cultures where food, drink, art, music and fun come together. More than 40,000 visitors are expected to stroll through the art booths, hear entertainers on a new, permanent stage provided by the Trinity River Vision as well as sample a variety of foods. In addition this year Musicarte has added a health component to the schedule with classes on the banks of the Trinity.

Located at Panther Island Pavilion, musical acts will include performances by Ozomatli and AB Quintanila y Kumbia King All Starz. In addition, Musicarte features live dance performances and lessons and even a kid’s zone. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the event.

Musicarte benefits the Scholarship Fund of the FWHCC and had a record breaking year last year and they're hoping to break another record again this year!
