Cowtown Wakepark Update

by User Not Found | Aug 03, 2012

This summer has been a scorcher but Cowtown Wakepark isn’t going to let that get in the way of their good time. The guys over at Fort Worth’s only urban wakepark just added 1,250 square feet of shade right next to the riding area. This spot is great for riders to relax while they’re waiting for their turn or for those who just want to sit back and relax and watch.

Cowtown Wakepark just wrapped up the 2012 Points Chase in which 13 parks across the country hosted a five-week series to qualify riders for the National Points Championship. The Points Chase had six different divisions (Wakeboard: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced & Pro & Wakeskate: Amateur and Pro) for riders of all skill levels to help encourage the growth of cable wakeboarding. Riders ranged from first year learners all the way up to 3-Time WWA Wake Park World Series Champion Tom Fooshee.

As always, Cowtown Wakepark is available to book for summer camps, groups and birthday parties. If you’re planning on going out to ride it’s always a good idea to check their facebook page ahead of time because they’re always posting specials.

Visit their website for hours and pricing and be sure to check out the story on Cowtown Wakepark in the August issue of 360 West!
