The Trinity River Vision Authority Announces First Annual “Rockin’ the River – Live on the Trinity” Summer Tubing and Music Series
Float in the River and Enjoy Music from Well-Known Texas Musicians at Free Events Held Throughout the Summer in Fort Worth’s Trinity Park.
FORT WORTH, TX – Heading to your favorite watering hole for happy hour takes on a whole new meaning this summer, with the launch of “Rockin’ the River – Live on the Trinity” Summer Tubing and Music Series.
Beginning June 9, floating happy hours will begin at 4pm every second and fourth Thursday in June, July and August on the Trinity River in Trinity Park, south of the Lancaster Ave. bridge. Admission is free and tubes will be provided for the first 600 attendees. Floaters will be allowed to bring their own tubes, beverage coolers and lawn chairs, if desired.
From the comfort of a tube, attendees will enjoy a waterfront stage that features some of Texas music’s most shining stars:
June 9 – Josh Weathers Band
June 23 – Bleu Edmondson
July 14 – Eleven Hundred Springs
July 28 – Ryan Turner
Aug. 11 – Kyle Bennett Band
Aug. 25 – The Will Callers
