FORT WORTH, TX - The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) will begin work November 4 on the second phase of a trail improvement project that will close a section of the Trinity Trails under University Drive until late December, weather permitting.
Trail users will have to seek alternate routes during this construction.
In addition to building a new trail along the Trinity River, this project includes construction of a new trailhead at the corner of Rogers Road and Riverfront Drive, a fishing
pier and improved ADA access. It is one of the many trail improvements outlined in the Trinity River Vision’s Neighborhood Recreational Enhancement Plan (NREP), a joint effort of TRWD, City of Fort Worth, Streams and Valleys, Inc. and the Trinity River Vision Authority.
