What is Cowtown Wakepark?
Cowtown Wakepark brought wakeboarding, the country’s hottest water sport, to Fort Worth in a whole new way – there’s no boat and you don’t need any experience or equipment. The park has six cables so multiple people can ride simultaneously. Located in the floodway of the Trinity River, owner Tommy Fambrough started Cowtown in 2011and since then it has grown to see great success. Cowtown Wakepark is the nation’s only urban cable park and is conveniently located less than five miles outside of downtown Fort Worth.

Cowtown Wakepark is a product of the Trinity River Vision Authority-- the organization responsible for the management and implementation of the Trinity River Vision- a master plan for the Trinity River in Fort Worth, Texas. The construction of a new river walk and town lake will create a vibrant urban waterfront neighborhood, Trinity Uptown, which is adjacent to downtown Fort Worth.
