Trinity Trash Bash
|
|
The 17th Annual Trinity River Trash Bash will be held on September 20 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at various locations along the river in Fort Worth. See link below for details. A party for volunteers will be held immediately following the cleanup at Rockwood Park in Fort Worth from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will feature food, prizes and entertainment by Radio Disney 620 AM.

Flatwater Fundamentals Kayak Clinic
|
|
This is an introductory program aimed at all ages and fitness levels. It provides the kayaker with the necessary skills to paddle safely, efficiently and with confidence. Participants will leave this class knowing how to enter, exit and maneuver a kayak in any direction. They will also learn how to recover from being capsized, including how to clear the water from your kayak and how to re-enter it from the water. Techniques for assisting other kayakers are also covered.
